Yoga has become a household term nowadays, with its practice –more often than not– understood as a physical one. Powerful as they are, asana (postures) and pranayama (breath work) represent a small portion of the rich science of Yoga that helps us nurture true wellbeing and fulfillment in life.
No matter how good it might make us feel, a perfect headstand isn’t generally the solution to handling our children’s meltdowns, dealing with difficulties at work, nor the challenges in our relationships!
This seminar introduces some key concepts and simple practices of Yoga’s different branches that can help us find more joy, serenity and perspective in our lives. After all, Yoga is a life science that is meant to bring about more health, happiness and wellbeing for all, no matter our age, our physical ability, or background.
Come ready to take notes, share insights, stretch your mind and move into more ease. Theory & shared discussion, plus an asana/pranayama/meditation session.
